The third joint conference of the
Asia-Pacific EPR/ESR Society
and
The International EPR (ESR) Society (IES)
will be held at

the University of Queensland’s St. Lucia campus
on the 23 – 27 September 2018.

The meeting aims to cover diverse topics related to Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) / Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) technologies, highlighting recent developments in the theory, methodology, instrumentation, experimental techniques and applications in biology, chemistry, physics and materials science.

Award Highlights

Michael R. Wasielewski  (Northwestern University) is awarded the Silver Medal in Chemistry from the International EPR(ESR) Society, and will present his award lecture at APES-IES2018, ‘ Radical Pairs as Spin Qubit Pairs: Observing and Preserving Spin Coherences’.  Read more

 

Dr Shunsuke C. Furuya (Rikken, Japan) will receive the IES Young Investigator Award, and will give his award lecture ‘Theory of electron spin resonance in low-dimensional quantum magnets’
